Model labels

Model labels indicate the things that a model measures in the Bitcoin network and Bitcoin markets.
See below for a list of model labels and their definitions.
Labels: Time-based holders
Short-term Holders
Measures Bitcoin holders who have held their Bitcoin for a short period of time, less than 155 days.
Long-term Holders
Measures Bitcoin holders who have held their Bitcoin for a long period of time, more than 155 days.
All Holders
Measures all Bitcoin holders, regardless of how long they have been holding their Bitcoin.
Labels: Markets
Trade activity
Measures the movement of Bitcoin (Bitcoin being traded). Looks out for things like who is buying and selling Bitcoin, and how much Bitcoin is being traded.
Market price
Measures the price of Bitcoin on popular Bitcoin exchanges.
200d price moving average
Measures the 200 day moving average of the fair price of Bitcoin.
Labels: Profits and losses
Realized price
Measures the "realized price" of Bitcoin. The Realized price is the average price at which all Bitcoin was last moved (eg: traded). This is different from the market price of Bitcoin. The realized price is useful to compare to market price to see if the market price of Bitcoin higher or lower than the price at which the Bitcoin was last moved (eg: traded).
Unrealized profit/loss
Measures the unrealized profit or loss of Bitcoin. This is the profit or loss that would be made if all Bitcoin was sold at the current market price.
Profit/loss being realized
Measures the profits and losses currently being realized by traders on the Bitcoin network. With large amounts of profits being realized this indicates that traders are selling their Bitcoin to make their profits real, which, in turn, will prevent the price from rising and may cause the price to fall. Likewise, with large amounts of losses being realized, this indicates that traders are selling their Bitcoin to prevent further losses, which, may indicate fear in the market and cause the price to fall further.
